Powerblanket's Rapid Ramp 55 gallon drum heaters are extremely energy effecient. The rapid ramp technology is designed with a preset temperature of 100°F (38°C). Once on, the BH55-RR uses only 800 watts of power. When the contents in the drum or barrel reach 100º F the blanket heater cycles down and only needs 400 watts of electricity to maintain temperature.
